My sister and I rotate having get togethers for the Pittsburgh Steelers games and I’m running out of ideas for food and snacks. I’m done chili, pizza, nachos, tacos, bbq and all the other typical football or tailgating ideas. Anyone have some other suggestions?

how about something simple like
mini-sandwiches
vegetable tray with dip
fruit tray with dip
spinach dip with crackers
pigs in a blanket (little smokies wrapped in a biscuit)
try making a hot chocolate bar- with marshmallow, grated chocolate- cookie sticks, whip cream and different flavorings to add- like coffee liquor, cinnamon liquor, chocolate liquor, raspberry- and so on.
For food- make a bunch of small sandwiches- cold and hot - egg salad, sloppy joe, roast beef, chicken salad, ect.
Then make a chip bar- where they have choices for dips and toppings- you can use different chips and crackers.
Hot wings with carrot celery sticks ….. big baked potatoes with a choice of toppings … pulled pork or brisket sandwiches … meatball sub sandwiches
Try hot wings with bleu cheese on the side and celery. Also use a little side of peanut butter. Make brownies, cookie, cookies, or like a cake shaped in a football, or something like that.
rice krispy treats!!!!
Why don’t you try putting a twist on the usual fair, try Jamaican Jerk, or Chimichuri sauce for your BBQ, Teriyake Chicken wings with a satay peanut dipping sauce, Pesto, or White Pizza, Fish, Shrimp, Crab Tacos, or Chili Verde served over Black Beans. Put your own spin on familiar foods, and snacks, it will be different, but not unfamiliar. It’s Football people are going to want and expect some of the usual stuff, it’s cliche because it works so well.
