graham crackers w/ peanut butter or celery w/ peanut butter

edit - well, considering two year olds can’t take themselves to parties their parents will be there and if they have allergies they will let you know

I would stay away from peanut butter, unless you know for sure that none of the other kids are not allergic. Maybe have some fruit snacks, chips, baby carrots/dip, etc.

EDIT to the first answerer: Not many 2 year-olds can properly bite off and chew celery either and if there is a family history of peanut allergies in their family it is recommended to not have peanuts or peanut butter until age 3 or older, and kids that have severe allergies and become sick just from the oils that they breath in! Read up on allergies!

i agree stay away from the peant butter only because you dont want any one with allergies to get sick. go with fruit salad. crackers and cheese, veggies with dip, a cold cut platter, cookies, juice, chips and dip, things that can be handled by little hands and adult hands. because even though it’s a babies party you have to think about adults too. ya know

My son loves goldfish. You can put them in little cupcake liners to be pretty.
He likes yogurt-covered raisins, too.
Make sure the parents don’t drop and run this happened to my Sis. She was so glad I was there. It is VERY hard to take care of 12 kids alone.

Finger foods at your 2 year olds party should definitely be a big hit!! You could try some of the following…

watermelon - you can get a melon scooper and have watermelon balls or cantaloupe

cut peaches, apples (discolor fast though), bananas

crackers with cheese (my 2 year old loves when i swirl the canned cheese on them)

goldfish - they have the colored ones now, really fun to eat

I think you can also put out a meat, cheese cracker tray and let them build their own (soft meats of course)

my son loves grapes.. although you would probably have to cut them in half… may take you a while :)

mini sandwiches… my son loves them

Hope some of these help… Have fun!!

fruit kabobs on pretzel sticks instead of skewers. cut up cheese and diced meat. mini ritz crackers.

here’s a cool idea. get clear plastic cups. make a batch of blue raspberry jello. when it is partially jelled, put gummy fish and other sealife in it. you can make one for each child.

My daughter is turning 2 on Friday as well!!!! Happy Birthday to your son! My party is a lil different because I am having family too, so everyone ranges from newborn, tweens, to teens, to midlife and oldies. :) But we are having:
-chips, pretzels dip
-taco salad dip tostitos
-meatballs (my sis in law makes these great meatballs w/ grape jelly so she is bringing them)
-pasta salad (suddenly salad kind)
-cheese, crackers, pepperoni
-sheet pizza cut into xsmall pieces (finger food size)

And instead of doing a cake, we decided to do cupcakes and then have a dessert bar with brownies, lemon bars, and cookies

And for a favor, since all the kids are different ages, we are having a candy buffet

I know this probably wont help much but I just wanted to say Happy Birthday!!!

Good luck
