What are some good foods to eat to help me stay full?

I eat breakfast at 7 to 7:30 and eat lunch at 12:30. How can I stay full inbetween that amount of time? Also, what are good snack foods to eat when I get home from school and before dinner so I don’t want to snack and cheat?

Make sure that you are having some extra fiber in your breakfast - that will help you stay full longer (some suggestions - weight control oatmeal by quaker, kashi cereals). Protein is also good to fill you up. Studies have shown that people who eat eggs for breakfast eat less calories during the day.

A good snack to hold you in between is fruit - it has fiber and to fill you up. Apples and strawberries are particularly good.

When you get home from school, try having a reduced fat string cheese, grapes with cottage cheese, or an apple with peanut butter. All are satisfying snacks.

These are things that have worked for me :)
