What’s a good low-fat vegan snack food?

GVG asked:

I’m on a low sugar, low-fat, vegan diet and I want to find a snack food that I can carry around with me, eat while working, use to replace breakfast when I’m in a hurry. I used to eat cashews, but they have too much fat. Before I was aware of my blood-sugar issues, I ate jelly beans. Popcorn is to fluffy to work for me; is there any other non-messy food that I haven’t ruled out yet?

Is it legal to send snack foods, like cookies and chocolate, to the UK?

Posted by admin on Nov 3, 2008 in Other - Food Drink

stumbleine_33 asked:

I’m a little confused as to customs regulations and don’t know if the chocolate and stuff they use in cookies would make it not legal to send. Also, if anyone does this regularly, how much will it cost? Better yet, does someone know of either a US or UK company I can have send these things fresh from the warehouse (…fresh from a warehouse, haha) without charging me an arm and a leg in shipping?

What’s the cheapest , most filling and fat free snack food?

Lucky D asked:

Hey,
I work from home and for the past two weeks I’ve been working overtime a lot, and stuffing my face with 50cent noodles. This is really unhealthy, so I’d like to know what kind of food would be best for snacks, which can sort of fill you up and isn’t loaded with calories. I’m just sick of junk food, and apples haha
Thanks!
