Is it better to keep snack foods on the left side of the desk or the right?

Snacking at work is bound to happen, but which side of the desk would a person tend to snack less if they had to get their food from that side?

Why don’t you pop them in a draw.

In a few minutes you’ll forget their even there. Out of site, out of mind!

Also try snacking on fruit rather than sweets. Try cutting fruit into segments, so you can munch as you go!

If your right-handed, keep the snack on the left side. If your left-handed, keep the snacks on the right hand side. This also helps because you’ll be snacking with the hand that isn’t your dominant one. That way, you won’t have to worry as much about getting the crumbs on the mouse, keyboard, or paperwork.

If you’re trying to snack less, lets talk about portion control. You’ll tend to eat all thats in the bag, so bag your own snacks with small portions in mind.

Happy snacking!
