Your taste is your own, so not all of these will be right for you, but….
Fruit: Choose a fruit of your choice. Maybe one or two apples?
Grain: All-bran bars, crackers…there’s a lot of choice here.
Granola bars that you find in health food stores, or Trader Joe’s, if you’re lucky enough to have that great store. You can even go to the health aisle of your supermarket. Always look at labels, and make sure there is no hydrogenated oil.
Bananas are the best! Raisins, dry nuts like almonds (a handful,) popcorn without a lot of butter.
Walk the aisles of a health food store, and read labels. Way to eat healthy!! Good luck, my friend.
fruit should be eaten alone. the enzymes needed to digest it will counteract with the enzymes from protein or grans, therefore turning the fruit rotten in your stomach if you don’t eat it on an empty stomach.
whatever you buy to snack on, stay away from high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener. I buy bread from the bakery section, where the wheat vienna and rolls are sweetened with honey.
you can snack on cereal, kachi has good ones that don’t have artificial shtt in it. get some organic baby carrots. I don’t know, just read the labels. it takes time, but you’ll find the stuff you like and get used to it. the girl above has a good answer, the hydrogenated oil is nasty.
