It came to me today,
does the flavouring used in meat flavoured snack foods contain any meat at all?
Or do chicken, barbeque, beef etc flavoured foods contain any traces of meat in them?

They contain chemicals and additives that fool your taste buds but they would never put traces of meat in it the FDA would go crazy.

If the packaging indicates natural flavors, it may. you have to read the ingredients on the package. For example, I have a small bottle of tomato bouillon with chicken flavor and the ingredients list on the label includes Dried chicken meat. I think it is likely that any meat flavoringd would have a tiny amount of meat, but barbecue is not likely to.
